The role supervises a team of co-workers to plan, organize, execute, control, support, audit, and report out on the West Alton combined cycle project, keeps scope boundaries clear, and surfaces interface risks before they hit cost or schedule. The role also deputizes for the Project Director on governance and decision cadence.

Deputize for the Project Director on day-to-day decisions and stakeholder management; set priorities and allocate resources across functions.
Ensure RFIs, submittals, and design changes move between parties at the cadence the PMO requires, and that decisions reach every affected function.
Capture interface-driven risks with the Risk Engineer, chair the interface meetings, and resolve conflicts between contractors and the owner's team.
Supervise, train, and guide team members in the day-to-day management of the West Alton project management team; the analysis of scope and design change requests and their interface impacts; the review of associated contracts and change orders; and the identification and control of risks to the project, including interface-driven risks.
Oversee the project management activities of team members in their analysis of progress and productivity, their cost monitoring, budget forecasting, and financial reporting, and their completion of service agreements and other related business requirements.
Monitor and enforce standards, policies, and procedures established by Ameren Corporation and regulatory entities.
