Key Responsibilities

  • Design and iterate quickly in a high-growth, data-informed environment.
  • Identify high-leverage opportunities through collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketers, and Analysts.
  • Translate insights into actionable design experiments to improve onboarding, conversion, and user engagement.
  • Contribute to maintaining design quality and cohesion within the broader Product Design team.

Requirements

  • Experience working in high-growth product environments, ideally within a start-up or scale-up where experimentation and iteration are core to success.
  • Comfortable working at speed, designing within growth loops, and turning data into design opportunities.
  • Understanding of the mechanics of activation, conversion, and retention, and the ability to use research, insight, and intuition to remove friction and motivate action.
  • Strong product design craft with an experimentation mindset, balancing speed with quality while shipping, measuring, and iterating at pace.
  • Ability to work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketers, and Analysts to identify high-leverage opportunities and turn insights into measurable outcomes.
  • Experience owning and driving customer growth, activation, and retention across digital experiences.
  • Experience designing at speed in a growth environment, turning insights into action and experimentation into impact.
  • Ownership for design quality and output beyond immediate stream, contributing to overall product design team.
  • Full-time availability to work ideally from Melbourne, Australia, with flexibility for remote work within Australia.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia with full working rights.
  • Application submission including a resume and cover letter.
  • Participation in a multi-stage interview process including a screening interview, an initial interview with the Design Lead, a take-home assignment, a follow-up assignment interview, and a final interview with two Executive Leadership team members.
