Job Description
The IT Operations Manager will lead and coordinate the IT team to ensure staff productivity, security, and support, while developing and implementing IT strategies to enable the company's growth and technological needs in a fast-paced renewable energy startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Amber's IT Operations team to ensure staff productivity, security, and support.
- Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with company goals.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of the IT team.
- Communicate IT plans and progress to stakeholders.
- Hands-on involvement in IT systems, tools, and processes to enable staff to perform their best work.
Requirements
- Experience leading an IT Operations team, with the ability to coordinate the work of the team and implement IT strategies.
- Comfortable communicating the team’s plans and progress with stakeholders.
- Ability to split time between planning IT strategy, coordinating team work, and hands-on implementation when needed.
- Full-time availability to work based from Melbourne, with flexibility to work in the office and from home, and occasional catch-ups in a co-working space in Sydney if based there.
- Candidates must already be based in Australia with full working rights.
- Experience in ensuring staff productivity, security, and support through IT operations.
- Experience in scaling tools, technology, and processes to support organizational growth.
- Experience in managing or overseeing IT infrastructure, systems, or technology operations relevant to a fast-growing startup environment.
