Job Description

Requirements
- 2+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience, or experience in similar technical or vocational roles
- Demonstrated knowledge of fiber-optic and copper cabling standards, optical types, test equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Working knowledge of structured cabling and port-allocation processes
- Ability to lead installs and guide less-experienced technicians
- industry standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+)
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
- Knowledge of network design, protocols and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting
- Project management skills, including planning, coordinating, and tracking concurrent installs through to delivery
- Experience with provisioning, allocation, or port-assignment workflows
- Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field (networking, IT, electrotechnology) or equivalent experience
