Job Description

The Employee Experience Manager at AlertMedia will lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster an inclusive workplace culture, focusing on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) strategies. This role involves collaborating across teams to implement programs that support employee development and retention while aligning with the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement DEIB strategies and programs to enhance the overall employee experience
  • Lead the development of philanthropy and volunteer programs to foster employee engagement
  • Drive employee engagement strategies through surveys and feedback mechanisms
  • Support the development and leadership of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
  • Lead the DEIB Committee and execute DEIB strategy and programs
  • Develop and publish internal communications content across various channels
  • Own ESG strategy and board reporting, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals
  • Manage University Relations efforts to attract and develop early career talent
  • Collaborate with the People team to implement best practices for workforce diversity
  • Assess impact of programs and provide updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Serve as a culture ambassador to ensure initiatives reflect company mission and values
  • Manage budget and resources for employee experience and culture programs

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience leading Employee Experience and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives.
  • Proven ability to design and implement programs that foster a culture of belonging and drive engagement.
  • Strong expertise in aligning employee engagement and DEIB strategies with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Solid understanding of best practices in employee engagement, organizational development, and DEIB.
  • Experience building and managing university relations programs to support talent pipelines and enhance employer branding.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to execute initiatives effectively.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills to measure impact and drive meaningful change.
  • This is an in-office, hybrid position 2-3 days a week in our downtown Austin, Texas headquarters.
