Job Description
The Project Manager will support the Marketing team at Alarm.com by coordinating various marketing projects, managing deliverables and timelines, and facilitating communication across departments. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and improve project management processes.
Responsibilities
- •Coordinate multiple marketing projects for Alarm.com venture business units, overseeing deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- •Scope, map, and execute product launch plans.
- •Create, manage, and maintain Jira tickets for all deliverables, identifying blockers and managing their resolution.
- •Facilitate communication across the Marketing team, VBUs, and other departments to ensure alignment and resolve schedule dependencies.
- •Establish and measure project milestones, prioritizing deliverables and managing cross-project dependencies.
- •Maintain and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders.
- •Create and maintain single-source-of-truth documentation for marketing projects.
- •Analyze current project management processes, make recommendations for improvements, and support implementation.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or project management disciplines.
- •2-4 years of hands-on project management or cross-functional marketing experience.
- •Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- •Proactive communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- •Ability to understand and coordinate a complex project suite across many teams.
- •Comfort in a fast-paced team environment, collaborating across multiple teams including sales, creative, and product management.
