Job Description

The Implementation Manager is responsible for leading complex hardware and software deployment projects, guiding clients through onboarding and strategic expansions, and ensuring timely, successful project delivery to maximize customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of implementation projects, including new deployments and strategic expansions.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans for large-scale, multi-site deployments, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to scope new projects and provide implementation expertise during pre-sales and renewal cycles.
  • Lead structured training, system configuration, and enablement sessions to ensure rapid realization of project value.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project phases, managing communications and expectations across stakeholders.
  • Continuously refine and document implementation methodologies, SOPs, and best practices to improve delivery processes.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in implementation, professional services, or technical project management, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; 2 years of additional related experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated mastery of project management principles, with experience managing multiple complex, long-term projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing deployments involving both hardware and software components.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to serve as the on-site lead for high-priority project kick-offs, site walks, deployment milestones, or vital stakeholder meetings as needed.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and executing detailed project plans for large-scale, multi-site deployments, coordinating with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Partnering with Sales and Customer Success teams to scope new projects, providing implementation expertise during the pre-sales cycle for prospects and during the expansion or renewal cycle for existing customers.
  • Defining project-specific use cases and success criteria upfront, and leading structured training, system configuration, and enablement sessions to ensure rapid time-to-value.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact during all project phases, managing communications and expectations across a diverse set of stakeholders, from on-site technicians to executive sponsors.
  • Continuously refining and documenting implementation methodology, SOPs, and best practices to create a scalable, repeatable, and world-class delivery experience.
