Job Description

The Account Executive at Alarm.com is responsible for driving sales and managing dealer relationships within the Pacific Northwest region, focusing on security and home automation products through regional dealers, and supporting business growth through training, relationship building, and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop regional dealer accounts to increase sales and productivity of Alarm.com products
  • Build and maintain relationships with key individuals within dealer accounts and industry partners
  • Conduct on-site dealer product training and collaborate with training engineers to develop training plans
  • Identify target dealers and coordinate sales and support efforts with internal teams
  • Foster positive relationships with dealers and communicate vital information to management
  • Provide weekly sales activity reports and documentation

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in outside sales
  • Reside within the Pacific Northwest (PNW) territory
  • Experience in the security industry is a plus
  • Successful history of client and account management, business development, and/or client training
  • Proven history of increasing revenue, closing accounts, and successfully growing accounts
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet heavy travel demands, approximately 70% travel
  • Ability to manage a large set of accounts and prioritize activities for highest impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including client presentation and training delivery experience
  • Demonstrated passion for providing the highest-quality customer service
  • Ability to sell concepts and value-added services
  • Team player with an extremely positive attitude and flexibility
  • Strong technical and computer skills and aptitude
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment

Benefits & Perks

Compensation/salary range: 100,000 - 120,000 USD annually, with an on target commission of 50,000 USD annually, totaling 150,000 - 170,000 USD
