Job Description
The Site Manager at Akaysha Energy will oversee the construction of the Brendale BESS Project, ensuring effective communication between contractors and suppliers while aligning on-site activities with the company's strategic goals. This role involves providing real-time project data, facilitating meetings, implementing safety protocols, and supporting project managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the interface between the principal contractor and the OEM supplier.
- Ensure on-site activities align with Akaysha Energy's strategic goals and project objectives.
- Provide accurate, real-time data on project status to support decision-making.
- Act as a central point of contact on-site for communication among stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular meetings and updates to keep stakeholders informed.
- Implement quality assurance and safety protocols on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits, reporting findings and ensuring follow-up actions.
- Ensure compliance with Project Management Plans and liaise with external stakeholders.
- Provide on-site support to Project Managers and assist with coordination of activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction and equipment integration processes.
Requirements
- Previous Site Management experience
- Electrical background
- Civil experience
- Highly motivated
- Negotiation skills
- Background in Renewables
- HV Experience
- Must be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency status or have existing AU working rights
