Job Description
A senior engineer responsible for developing and deploying advanced state estimation, calibration, and mapping algorithms for Aeva's 4D LiDAR sensors to enhance autonomous driving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement state-of-the-art methods in state estimation, online calibration, and optimization for LiDAR systems
- Deploy LiDAR algorithms to production environments to enhance autonomous driving performance
- Work on calibration, localization, and mapping tasks within the CLAMS team
Requirements
- Experience in implementing State-Of-The-Art (SOTA) methods in state estimation, online calibration, and optimization for LiDAR systems.
- Proven ability to deploy LiDAR algorithms, specifically Aeva's 4D FMCW LiDAR algorithms, to production environments.
- Strong background in calibration, localization, and mapping within autonomous driving or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience working on autonomous driving performance enhancement through algorithm development and deployment.
- Relevant educational background in engineering, robotics, computer science, or related technical fields (implied by senior engineering role).
