Job Description
An Automotive Software Engineering Manager responsible for leading the embedded software team in Bangalore, overseeing the development of safety and security compliant firmware for automotive OEM programs, and collaborating with international teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the automotive embedded software team in Bengaluru.
- Provide technical leadership for the development of safety and security compliant firmware.
- Oversee the execution of software development projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Support integration of firmware with OEM middleware systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams in the US and Germany to coordinate project efforts.
- Ensure software quality aligns with global program milestones and standards.
Requirements
- Experience in leading automotive embedded software engineering teams, with demonstrated technical leadership and people management skills.
- Proven ability to oversee the execution of automotive embedded software projects and ensure delivery quality aligns with global program milestones.
- Experience in delivering safety and security compliant firmware for OEM automotive programs.
- Ability to support integration of firmware with OEM middleware systems.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner closely with engineering counterparts in the US and Germany.
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards and security requirements relevant to firmware development.
- Experience in managing or leading software development for automotive or related safety-critical systems.
