Requirements
- Education requirements are listed below: High School Diploma or GED
- Material Handler B
- A minimum of one year work experience in inventory control and management, material handling, warehousing, or related experience is required.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 70 pounds; successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT) is required.
- Must possess the appropriate State drive license. If a Commercial Drive License (CDL) is required, the incumbent must obtain the CDL within six months of entry into this job classification or vacate the current job classification. Must be able to operate material handling equipment including motorized forklifts and road vehicles.
- Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below: Must meet all vehicle operation requirements as designated by federal and/or state law. In addition, must have a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL).If a Crane Certification is required, the incumbent must obtain the Crane Certification within 1 year after obtaining the CDL and within 2 attempts or vacate the current job classification. In addition, the incumbent must periodically be recertified as required by the regulations and in the timeframe determined by the company. Must acquire within such time frame as determined by the company, the qualifications necessary to perform the duties of the next higher classification in the line of progression or vacate the current job classification.
- Material Handler A
- Must have satisfactorily performed the duties of Material Handler B for a minimum of 24 months
- Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below:
- Must meet all vehicle operation requirement as designated by federal and/or state law. In addition, must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
