Key Responsibilities
Support Distribution Automation Circuit Reconfiguration (DACR) that reduce outage times, reduce the number of impacted customers that experience a sustained outage, and isolate the fault, allowing it to be found and repaired quicker. In addition, reclosing technology (trip savers) is replacing fuses on PSO’s system, which will reduce sustained outages to end customers. The engineers in the group perform arc flash studies for existing customers, motor start studies for potential new load, and deployment of CVR as part of PSO’s Energy Efficiency Rider.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degrees in engineering & engineer technologist titles are expected to be in a program accredited by ABET.
