Provide leadership and technical services direction to establish a high performing engineering design team.
Ensure the contribution of all employees within the Distribution Design group in developing methods and approaches by maintaining close involvement with the employees and listening to the ideas, needs and recommendations
Ensure that each employee maintains a customer focused attitude by conveying a thorough understanding of customer expectations and instill the importance of achieving superior customer satisfaction.
Monitor design, material and work progress on department projects to control costs within estimated budget and to ensure codes, standards and schedules are met.
Coordinate with other departments to maintain accurate maps of the distribution system.
Develop employee skills/knowledge.
Promotes and assures standard compliance.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline, and minimum of 5 years' experience in the design of power system electrical distribution facilities or other related experience;
associate's degree in electrical/electronic technology or related discipline, and minimum of 7 years' experience in the design of distribution facilities
or high school diploma or GED with 9 years of experience in the design of distribution facilities.
