Key Responsibilities
Plan and scope transmission line projects
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Select and evaluate transmission structure types
Review geotechnical reports and foundation recommendations
Design transmission structure foundations
Perform conductor tension, sag, and clearance evaluations
Develop transmission line designs using PLS-CADD
Support project scheduling, cost estimating, and project execution
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline in a program accredited by ABET*
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interest in structural, geotechnical, or utility infrastructure design
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
EIT certification or progress toward licensure preferred
Candidates with a Master's degree in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET* may be considered for entry into the organization at this level.
