Job Description
The Associate will support Acumen's East Coast fundraising operations by engaging and stewarding donors, coordinating local events, and managing donor data. This role requires strong organizational and project management skills to effectively contribute to the team's mission of addressing poverty through social entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
- Support East Coast fundraising operations
- Engage and steward donors
- Coordinate local events
- Research and build targeted lists of East Coast prospects
- Manage local donor engagement tracking and outreach
- Maintain Salesforce database and ensure accurate donation records
- Create and pull reports for fundraising analysis
- Draft gift processing documents
- Manage logistics for East Coast events
- Coordinate event invitations and attendee lists
Requirements
- At least two years of relevant experience in fundraising or sales operations or project management.
- Permanently authorized to work in the US, based in New York.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Operational skills such as problem-solving and project management, including the ability to work and deliver projects independently, proactively, and within deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communicator.
- Highly collaborative and able to effectively work cross-functionally.
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to proactively anticipate needs before they arise and take action without being asked.
- Exceptional relationship and interpersonal skills including courtesy, tact, patience, and strong teamwork.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: 60,000-65,507 plus a performance-based bonus
Work schedule: Hybrid work agreement, in the office three days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays)
