Job Description
The Accounting Analyst at 5 is responsible for supporting core accounting operations, including payroll and expense management, ensuring accuracy and financial controls, and collaborating with internal and external teams to facilitate timely financial reporting and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and support core accounting operations
- Manage payroll and expense processes
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and strong financial controls
- Collaborate with internal teams, external CPA firms, PEO, and Mexico-based accounting team
- Support timely financial close processes
- Contribute to reliable financial reporting
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in finance operations
Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting operations, including accounting, payroll, and expense management, with the ability to support accurate and consistent financial processes.
- Experience supporting timely financial close processes and reliable financial reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external CPA firms, a PEO, and a Mexico-based accounting team.
- Strong understanding of financial controls and the importance of maintaining them as the business grows.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
