Job Description
The Accounting Analyst at 5 is responsible for supporting core accounting operations, including payroll and expense management, ensuring accuracy and financial controls, and collaborating with internal and external teams to facilitate financial reporting and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and support core accounting operations
- Manage payroll and expense processes
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and strong financial controls
- Collaborate with internal teams, external CPA firms, PEO, and Mexico-based accounting team
- Support timely financial close processes
- Contribute to reliable financial reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in finance operations
Requirements
- Experience in performing and supporting core accounting operations, including accounting, payroll, and expense management.
- Ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and strong financial controls in accounting processes.
- Experience working with internal teams, external CPA firms, a PEO, and international accounting teams, specifically in Mexico.
- Ability to support timely financial close processes.
- Experience in providing reliable financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to continuous improvement across finance operations.
