Job Description
The Junior Quality Engineer will support quality processes in production and material receiving, manage Quality Inspectors, analyze defective parts, and create quality documentation while ensuring compliance with IMS policies and participating in health and safety programs.
Responsibilities
- •Provide support for quality processes in production and receiving materials.
- •Support and manage Quality Inspectors.
- •Track and analyze defective parts to create 8D reports.
- •Create, track, and present metrics for the area.
- •Follow customer, supplier, and internal audits.
- •Support customer or supplier rejections in warehouses.
- •Create and monitor quality documentation such as WIs and Control Plans.
- •Comply with IMS processes and understand environmental aspects.
- •Participate in IMS audits and Occupational Health and Safety programs.
- •Identify hazards and risks in operational areas.
- •Participate in accident incident investigations.
- •Support in updating relevant documentation.
Requirements
- •Provide support for quality processes in various areas, such as production and receiving materials, through the application of quality tools to control production and service processes.
- •Support and management of Quality Inspectors.
- •Make decisions based on criteria.
- •Track and analyze defective parts with a multidisciplinary team to create 8D reports.
- •Create, track, and present metrics for your area.
- •Follow customer, supplier, and internal audits.
- •Support customer or supplier rejections in various warehouses where required.
- •Create and monitor quality documentation including WIs, Control Plans, and Quality Alerts.
- •Understand the IMS policy and apply it in daily activities.
- •Comply with the processes integrated into the IMS and understand the environmental aspects of their area.
- •Contribute to the implementation of operational controls to minimize environmental impact.
- •Actively participate in IMS audits.
- •Be aware of hazards and risks, and understand and comply with operational controls.
- •Report unsafe acts to the EHS department.
- •Participate in Occupational Health and Safety programs.
- •Participate in hazard and risk identification in operational areas.
- •Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
- •Participate in accident incident investigations.
- •Understand the comprehensive policy and objectives of the IMS and their contributions to compliance.
- •Report accidents and incidents to staff and those within the company.
- •Support in updating documentation relevant to work areas.
