Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the transportation and logistics operations at Bee Green, overseeing dispatchers and drivers while ensuring efficient and compliant transportation of inventory and recyclable materials. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to meet customer commitments and optimize logistics processes.
Responsibilities
- •Oversee the transportation and logistics department
- •Manage dispatcher, delivery drivers, and roll off drivers
- •Coordinate communications with third-party haulers
- •Coordinate transportation of inbound retail inventory and outbound recyclable materials
- •Ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
- •Meet customer commitments on time with exemplary service
Requirements
- •The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the transportation and logistics department of Bee Green's recycling facilities and landscape supply store.
- •The Logistics Coordinator oversees the dispatcher, delivery drivers, and roll off drivers, and manages communications with third-party haulers.
- •The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the transportation of inbound retail inventory and outbound recyclable materials for Bee Green's facilities.
- •The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, managerial, and problem-solving skills.
- •The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of freight logistics and industry regulations.
