Job Description
The Senior Accounting Associate will lead the monthly close process for nonprofit clients, oversee Staff Accountants, and handle complex accounting tasks while providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- •Lead the monthly close process for clients in the Nonprofit sector
- •Train and oversee the work of Staff Accountants
- •Complete technically complex tasks on engagements
- •Collaborate with the engagement manager to provide superior customer service
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- •Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- •Experience leading the monthly close process for clients.
- •Ability to train and oversee the work of Staff Accountants.
- •Proficiency in completing technically complex accounting tasks.
- •Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with an engagement manager.
