Job Description
The Product Management Intern at Alarm.com will assist in delivering new features and enhancements for smart security and IoT solutions, working closely with product and software development teams while managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- •Write specifications for the engineering team
- •Test new products and features
- •Develop product marketing materials and technical documentation
- •Support existing products
- •Assist with go-to-market strategy and launches for new products
- •Facilitate product release with engineering, sales, and supply chain
- •Develop and deliver product presentations
- •Conduct market research and gather customer feedback
- •Analyze product landscape
- •Troubleshoot and resolve escalated product issues
Requirements
- •Current university student enrolled in a bachelor's program in Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Economics, Cognitive Science, or similar degree.
- •Rising senior with a graduation date during the Spring/Summer of 2026 is highly preferred.
- •Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- •Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- •Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment.
- •Willingness to assist in a variety of product-related tasks including logistical, testing, troubleshooting, and planning.
- •Ability to act as a customer advocate in a dynamic group environment while considering the team's overall priorities and goals.
- •Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- •On-site presence required for the duration of the 10-week internship program.
