Job Description
The role involves serving as a subject matter expert and lead planner for a large healthcare facility project, collaborating with project teams to develop innovative planning solutions, and translating concepts into actionable project documentation. Candidates should have significant experience in health projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to build client relationships.
Responsibilities
- •Develop innovative solutions for healthcare facility planning.
- •Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise.
- •Lead user group meetings to assess space utilization.
- •Communicate planning concepts through reports and graphics.
- •Translate planning concepts for clients and project teams.
- •Lead the development and review of planning concepts.
- •Assist in developing architectural drawings and specifications.
- •Assist in developing project scope and services during contracts.
- •Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions.
- •Maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
- •Provide guidance to designers and project leaders.
- •Participate in marketing proposals.
Requirements
- •Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree required.
- •Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
- •Must have prior experience performing as a subject matter expert on health projects.
- •Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- •Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
- •Must possess business acumen.
- •Must be a critical thinker.
- •Must be highly analytical.
- •Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- •Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
- •Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required.
- •Professional business attire is required for client meetings.
- •Travel required.
