Job Description

The Senior Project Manager, Continuous Improvement at Nexamp will lead process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality within the organization, utilizing methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to identify inefficiencies, implement innovative solutions, and drive operational excellence in the clean energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process optimization projects from start to finish, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to redesign processes for performance improvements.
  • Work cross-functionally to uncover pain points and improve workflows.
  • Communicate project progress and ensure stakeholder visibility into timelines and key decisions.
  • Leverage data analysis to identify and track long-term impact of projects.
  • Track key performance metrics and provide updates to senior leadership.
  • Mentor team members and promote best practices in process improvement.
  • Create and maintain process workflows, SOPs, and reports.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to drive meaningful change.
  • Explore emerging technologies to drive digital transformation and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful initiatives in growing organizations.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing complex, multi-phase initiatives involving diverse teams and stakeholders across various departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple priorities and driving results under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement structured improvements using data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives, managers, and frontline employees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in process mapping, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
