Job Description
The job involves managing various human resources functions including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and training initiatives within a manufacturing environment, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and maintaining confidentiality of employee information.
Responsibilities
- •Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies and procedures
- •Partner with the business on training initiatives and programs with local colleges
- •Manage general employee relations in a scaling organization
- •Maintain confidentiality of personal employee and company information
- •Administer employee transfers, leave of absence, and changes in employee status
- •File documents related to employee personnel, medical, and work compensation files
- •Communicate with employees regarding issues, questions, and concerns
- •Administer employee benefits including Health Insurance, 401K, and PTO
Requirements
- •Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- •5 years experience in Human Resources.
- •Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.
- •Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
- •Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize.
- •Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.
- •Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and associates.
- •Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Information System.
- •Demonstrated good internal customer service skills.
- •Proven presentation skills.
- •Ability to manage multiple projects.
- •Good computer skills.
- •Able to navigate complexity and problem solve despite at times having lack of clarity or ambiguity.
