Job Description
The Accounts Director will focus on the consumer electronics market, responsible for developing customer relationships, crafting engagement strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to align with Sila's commercial strategy. This role involves managing key accounts, forecasting sales, and mentoring junior team members while staying informed about industry trends.
Responsibilities
- •Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers at customers.
- •Develop engagement strategies and plans for existing and prospective customers.
- •Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- •Forecast demand across key accounts and create multi-year projections.
- •Mentor junior team members on customer engagement strategies and sales techniques.
- •Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- •Manage business development and sales activities with key partners.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent combination of experience and education in technology industry.
- •Proven experience in business development, account management, project management, and team leadership with large consumer electronics OEM customers.
- •At least 5-7 years of experience selling into consumer electronics supply chains, especially products requiring physical integration.
- •Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- •Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- •Proficiency in understanding complex technical and commercial concepts.
- •Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and customer-centric environment.
- •At least 50% travel required, both domestic and international.
