Job Description

The Inside Sales professional at Pure Storage will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for field sales, while contributing to a high-performance sales culture in a rapidly growing technology company.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect to identify net new opportunities
  • Identify, qualify and set appointments for field counterparts
  • Conduct research on key target accounts
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing to develop outbound call campaigns
  • Progress opportunities with field Account Executives as needed
  • Handle project upsells and renewals
  • Qualify and respond to daily marketing generated leads
  • Drive attendance to scheduled partner events
  • Work with Account Executives to identify sales targets and penetrate new accounts
  • Collaborate with Channel on outbound prospecting campaigns
  • Communicate with Marketing on strategy and lead generation
  • Stay updated on current storage trends and competitor news
  • Utilize sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com and LinkedIn
  • Travel for tradeshow events and customer visits as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience in sales, preferably storage.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Fluent, business level Dutch language skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and penetrating net-new accounts.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize various sales-related activities and fluently adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate Pure Storage business value to varying roles in an IT organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize performance and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
