Job Description
The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead complex initiatives within the Cloud Native Business Unit at Pure Storage, focusing on driving execution and improving development processes in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong technical leadership, collaboration across business units, and the ability to manage dependencies and deliverables for multiple programs.
Responsibilities
- •Drive execution of complex and cross-cutting initiatives and programs.
- •Establish best practices and manage dependencies and deliverables for multiple programs.
- •Improve development processes and tooling to enhance engineering excellence, quality, and security.
- •Manage projects throughout the entire SDLC, ensuring timely delivery and addressing customer feedback.
- •Drive content, schedule, and overall delivery of the program for Go-To-Market readiness.
- •Set goals for the program and communicate progress to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- •Ensure corrective actions and risk mitigations are in place to keep programs on track.
- •Optimize team processes to improve quality, productivity, and responsiveness to feedback.
- •Resolve issues and overcome obstacles across team boundaries.
- •Utilize Jira Cloud for software development program management and release management.
Requirements
- •8 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager leading product delivery teams for enterprise commercial software organizations.
- •MS in computer science, MBA or engineering management equivalent preferred.
- •6 years of solution management and product delivery in SaaS development environments and cloud architecture.
- •Proven track record of delivering complex cross-cutting programs.
- •6 years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise commercial software releases in a dynamic environment.
- •Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- •Experience in managing projects throughout the entire SDLC, including investigation, design, planning, execution, and delivering products to market on schedule.
- •Solid knowledge of end-to-end SDLC best practices.
- •Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical, cross-functional groups.
- •Advanced understanding and extensive use of Jira Cloud in software development program management and release management.
