Job Description
The Technical Value Management Director leads engagements with major global customers to quantify business outcomes and benefits from Pure Storage solutions, collaborating with technical teams to develop compelling value propositions and implementation plans that address customer pain points and drive measurable improvements.
Responsibilities
- •Lead multi-disciplined technical team to assess and quantify current state pain points and requirements.
- •Develop and present current and future state architectures that articulate pain points and business requirements.
- •Collaborate with Account SEs to align technical insights with customer objectives.
- •Articulate technical and financial benefits of Pure Storage solutions to business stakeholders.
- •Document and quantify business benefits with robust metrics.
- •Negotiate technical scope agreements with customer senior sponsors.
- •Contribute to the development of repeatable assets illustrating current and future state architectures.
- •Deliver implementation plans that outline when business benefits will be realized.
Requirements
- •10 years of experience in value based technical sales.
- •Proven track record of working at CxO - typically CTO level.
- •Proven expertise in Consulting led client engagements on large multi-million opportunities with Fortune 500 companies.
- •Experience with application environments, database management, networking infrastructure, cloud, and how application requirements are defined and implemented into infrastructure cloud and on-premise with current technology such as containers.
- •Proven experience in defining operating and business metrics.
- •Knowledge of storage block, file, object, cloud, database technologies, AI, and virtualization technologies.
- •Proven ability to analyze complex technical environments and translate findings into business value propositions.
- •Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
- •Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially sales engineers and account teams.
- •Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering value and building long-term relationships.
