Job Description
The Finance Director will lead the GTM Finance Shared Services team at Pure Storage, providing financial leadership and support to global sales functions, driving financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, and translating data into actionable insights to optimize revenue generation and profitability.
Responsibilities
- •Lead the GTM Finance Shared Services team in Prague.
- •Provide financial leadership and support to global sales functions.
- •Drive financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- •Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior leadership.
- •Assess new GTM initiatives and support growth strategies.
- •Promote financial empowerment and accountability across sales teams.
- •Oversee forecasting of sales compensation and incentive spend.
- •Evaluate ROI on GTM investments and recommend cost-effective strategies.
- •Deliver financial modeling and analytical support for strategic initiatives.
- •Partner with sales and finance leadership to create accurate forecasts and budgets.
- •Assist in prioritizing investments by analyzing headcount and spend decisions.
- •Translate data into strategic insights and forward-looking narratives.
- •Establish and refine financial metrics and reporting.
- •Drive process improvements related to financial reporting standardization and automation.
- •Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
Requirements
- •10 years of experience in high-tech industries, with prior leadership experience.
- •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- •Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into impactful messages.
- •Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team setting.
- •Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan) and financial planning tools.
- •Ability to lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- •Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- •Ability to translate data into strategic insights and forward-looking narratives that align with business and market trends.
