Job Description
This role involves overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations, managing relationships with contract manufacturers and suppliers, and ensuring alignment with market demands and logistics capabilities to support revenue and inventory objectives.
Responsibilities
- •Oversee and optimize supply chain operations.
- •Collaborate with the Demand Planning team to address forecast accuracy.
- •Adjust supply targets to align with market demand trends.
- •Synchronize forecasts with manufacturing capacity and logistics capabilities.
- •Develop and implement KPIs to monitor efficiency and performance.
- •Oversee inventory management and mitigate supply risks.
- •Build and maintain partnerships with Contract Manufacturers and suppliers.
- •Act as a liaison to resolve operational issues.
- •Collaborate with NPI team for new product development and transitions.
- •Review schedule requirements, capacity, delivery timelines, and cost considerations.
- •Develop and update internal and external process documentation.
- •Recommend and implement best practices across functional areas.
- •Provide guidance on logistics challenges and compliance.
Requirements
- •Strong expertise in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, and supplier relationship management.
- •Proven track record of managing demand planning, logistics, and inventory in a global setting with tiered Contract Manufacturers.
- •Proven knowledge of the Storage Industry's planning and forecasting of SKU, assembly and component, experiences with supply chain functionality.
- •Advanced analytical capability, knowledge in identifying demand supply trends, dynamic, seasonality impact and promotional impact of fast pace enterprise storage product line.
- •Advanced knowledge of forecast techniques, supply planning, and MRP systems including Bills of Materials, component shortages, ordering process.
- •Ability to develop and track KPIs to drive performance improvement.
- •Effective communication and negotiation skills, with experience leading internal and external cross-functional teams.
- •Expert and knowledge of production and manufacturing processes.
- •Advanced user on ERP systems, Tableau and/or other Planning tools.
- •Demonstrated problem resolution skills and team building and leadership skills.
- •Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of the organization.
- •BA/BS Degree required in relevant areas - Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Economics, Engineering, etc.
