Job Description
The Sr. Software Engineer will develop test infrastructure for innovative cloud storage solutions, focusing on automation and improving testing pipelines in a dynamic team environment. The role requires expertise in test automation, infrastructure development, and strong programming skills, particularly in Golang.
Responsibilities
- •Develop automated test framework for software-based all-flash storage arrays
- •Lead design and development of infrastructure and tools for automated testing environments
- •Build debug tools and analyze test failures across a multi-machine hardware software stack
- •Measure and seek improvements in the testing pipeline
- •Modernize the code base to a Microservices and cloud-friendly architecture
Requirements
- •5 years of hands-on test automation or infrastructure development using Golang, with ability and desire to learn new technology.
- •A strong focus on developing usable, extensible and maintainable software.
- •Demonstrated Unix/Linux automation experience.
- •Experience with Agile methodologies, Test frameworks, and Continuous Integration.
- •Ability to work independently in cross-functional teams.
- •Solid skills in Algorithms, Data Structures, Golang, Python, and Operating Systems.
- •Understanding of Linux environments and Cloud technologies.
- •Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- •Knowledge of build-test pipeline, end-to-end quality best practices, Test Driven Development, and Data Driven Engineering.
- •Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- •BS in Computer Science or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- •Solid communication skills.
- •Willingness to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies.
