Job Description
The Product Data Scientist will analyze data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making within the product and engineering teams, utilizing statistical techniques and machine learning to optimize resources and improve product features.
Responsibilities
- •Build data-informed insights to deliver findings and recommendations to product and engineering teams
- •Create visualizations and written narratives to communicate quantitative insights
- •Employ statistical analysis and modeling techniques on various data types to drive optimization and improvement initiatives
- •Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand business motivations and deliver data analysis
- •Refine data engineering processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- •Present and communicate analytical findings to stakeholders across the organization
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong focus on Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science. Master's preferred.
- •6 years relevant experience as a Product Analytics Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar, partnering with product, engineering, or growth teams.
- •Technical proficiency with analytical tools for data extraction, visualization, and analysis including SQL, Python, and Pandas.
- •Strong understanding of statistical techniques and machine learning.
- •Experience working with large datasets and predictive modeling.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- •Experience working in agile teams using collaboration software like Jira or similar.
