Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician at Redwood Materials will operate production lines, respond to process issues, and support maintenance and training initiatives, all while contributing to a sustainable battery supply chain.
Responsibilities
- •Operate production line including loading recipes and driving forklifts
- •Respond rapidly to out-of-control processes to minimize costs and maximize productivity
- •Investigate and implement countermeasures to improve processes
- •Measure Cpk and product yield
- •Maintain and develop maintenance and calibration procedures and schedules
- •Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives
- •Ensure manufacturing instructions and qualification schedules are current
- •Train all new hires as the subject matter expert
- •Write rework procedures and train associates on new processes
- •Manage repairs and troubleshooting as instructed
Requirements
- •3 years experience in a manufacturing industrial environment
- •Has a college degree or technical certifications in manufacturing or other Redwood related skills
- •Ability to manage workload while contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment
- •Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
- •Skilled with common workplace software MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access, etc.
- •Availability for occasional off-hours calls

- •Current Shifts: A Sun - Tues and every other Wed 6am to 6pm, B Sun - Tues and every other Wed 6pm to 6am, C Thurs - Sat and every other Wed 6am to 6pm, D Thurs - Sat and every other Wed 6pm to 6am
