Job Description
The Graduate Engineer, Transportation - Roadway will support the design and coordination of roadway and municipal projects, focusing on enhancing community connectivity and safety. This role involves working on various aspects of transportation planning, traffic analysis, and utilities coordination, while collaborating within a multi-disciplined team in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- •Design and support project coordination for roadway and municipal projects
- •Conduct feasibility studies and initial to final design
- •Supervise construction of design
- •Perform roadway design and traffic analysis
- •Manage pavement management and utilities coordination
- •Engage in transportation planning for urban and rural roadways
Requirements
- •2 - 5 Years Experience in Transportation - Roadway Utilities
- •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- •Experience in roadway design, traffic analysis, pavement management, utilities coordination, and transportation planning for both urban and rural roadways
- •Ability to support project coordination throughout the full cycle of roadway and municipal projects from feasibility studies, initial design, final design to supervising construction of design
- •Willingness to travel to project sites or community meetings within the Twin Cities Metro area
- •Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, which consists of Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history
