Job Description
The Senior Land Planner at Atwell, LLC will be responsible for developing innovative site layouts, creating grading plans, and collaborating on landscape design elements while ensuring compliance with zoning laws and environmental considerations. The role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication with clients and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
- •Develop innovative site layouts that maximize functionality while adhering to zoning laws and environmental considerations.
- •Create and review grading plans to optimize site drainage and prepare for construction.
- •Collaborate on landscape design elements, integrating aesthetic and ecological considerations into project plans.
- •Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, presenting design concepts and addressing feedback.
- •Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to identify potential challenges and develop effective solutions throughout the planning process.
- •Stay informed about local regulations, environmental policies, and industry trends to ensure project compliance and innovation.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- •Minimum of 5 years of experience in land planning and development.
- •Strong understanding of grading, site design, and landscape architecture principles.
- •Proficient in design software e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp and other relevant tools.
