Job Description
The Business Development intern will support the Public Sector Business Development team at Brightcore Energy, focusing on clean energy technology opportunities. Responsibilities include research and analysis of potential clients, coordination with various teams on project proposals, and administrative support for business development activities.
Responsibilities
- •Conduct research and analysis of potential renewable energy clients and their sustainability goals.
- •Coordinate with various teams (geothermal, LED lighting controls, solar plus storage) on proposals and information needed.
- •Track and report on geothermal projects and new client projects in the CRM system.
- •Collaborate with Account Management and Marketing on outreach efforts for new clean energy technology clients.
- •Provide administrative support to the Director of Business Development and Senior BD Analysts.
- •Assist in business plan management, updates, and reporting on key performance measures.
- •Research and provide updates on market competition, trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- •Must reside in the State of NY.
- •Must be a rising Senior with a strong academic record at a NY State university or college.
- •Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Communications, Environmental Sciences, or a related field with a GPA of 3.50 or above.
- •Must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status, with an average of forty (40) hours as scheduled for an 8-week internship program beginning in June 2025.
- •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- •Superior work ethic and attention to detail.
- •All Brightcore Energy positions require a pre-employment background check that includes prior employment verifications, a criminal history check, and a pre-employment drug screen.
