Job Description
The Director of Civil Engineering for Land Development at Atwell, LLC will lead business development initiatives and manage a team of engineers to drive the success of land development projects in the Cleveland, OH area and the Great Lakes Region.
Responsibilities
- •Lead, mentor, and develop a team of civil engineers and support staff.
- •Oversee planning, design, and execution of land development projects.
- •Develop and execute regional strategies for growth and profitability.
- •Implement strategic business development plans to expand market presence.
- •Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- •Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including proposals and negotiations.
- •Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- •Ensure successful delivery of land development projects from inception to completion.
- •Coordinate with internal and external teams for project execution and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- •Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- •Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on land development (commercial and/or SFD).
- •Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- •Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- •Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- •Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans.
