Job Description
The Origination Intern will support the Commercial Origination Team at Clearway Energy Group, assisting in managing customer relationships, tracking market trends, and contributing to project work focused on sustainability and renewable energy. This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to present a final project to leadership.
Responsibilities
- •Support the Commercial Origination Team on ongoing efforts
- •Complete an individual project and present it to leadership
- •Manage customer relationships and track pricing and product trends
- •Negotiate and execute revenue contracts
- •Drive growth through product innovation
Requirements
- •First-year students in a graduate program with a focus and passion in sustainability, renewable energy, climate change, or related fields.
- •Specific interest in helping corporates achieve their goals to transition to a net-zero economy with carbon-free energy.
- •Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of projects and assignments.
- •Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable, demonstrating eagerness to engage in work and ask for additional tasks when time allows.
- •Strong interpersonal skills, including willingness to ask questions, listen to colleagues, and contribute ideas.
- •Clearway will not sponsor nonimmigrant visas for this position H-1B, TN, E-3, J-1, etc. or provide any assistance in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including OPT or CPT.

- •Work schedule: Hybrid, office-based employees typically work together from Tuesdays to Thursdays
