Job Description
The O&M Estimating Analytics Intern will assist in forecasting operations and maintenance costs for renewable energy projects while developing tools for data visualization and cost modeling. This internship offers hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector, focusing on solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems.
Responsibilities
- •Develop a Power BI tool to compile and visualize solar BESS O&M forecasts.
- •Support senior analysts in benchmarking actual O&M spending at Clearway's plants.
- •Learn about renewable energy project development and estimating O&M costs.
Requirements
- •Current juniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, or a related technical field.
- •Experience working with datasets, data visualization, and problem-solving.
- •Proficiency in working with datasets and connecting them with various tools, for example, Power BI.
- •Strong users of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- •Intellectual curiosity and an interest in renewable energy.
- •Strong interpersonal skills.
- •Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable.
- •Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of projects and assignments.
- •This position is part of the 10-week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginning in June 2025.
