Job Description
The Senior Program Manager will lead and oversee complex engineering projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and budget while coordinating cross-functional teams. This role requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- •Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering programs from concept to completion.
- •Define program goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- •Establish program milestones and manage dependencies across projects and teams.
- •Coordinate and align with internal teams to ensure program objectives are met.
- •Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and program updates.
- •Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- •Resolve technical and operational challenges during program execution.
- •Manage program budgets and allocate resources effectively across projects.
- •Evaluate and improve program management methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- •Provide guidance and mentorship to junior program managers or project leads.
- •Develop and deliver regular reports on program performance, including status updates and metrics.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- •7 years of program or project management experience in an engineering or technical environment.
- •Experience managing large-scale, complex projects in industries such as energy, manufacturing, or technology.
- •Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- •Strong understanding of engineering principles, systems, and product development cycles.
- •Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management frameworks.
- •Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- •Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- •Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity effectively.
- •Full-time, on-site hybrid remote work arrangement.
