Job Description
The Intern, Transmission Grid Integration will assist the Clearway Transmission Grid Integration team in analyzing transmission interconnection projects and policies, while gaining hands-on experience in power energy systems. This 10-week summer internship offers exposure to real projects and the opportunity to present findings to leadership.
Responsibilities
- •Conduct transmission interconnection analysis for generation interconnection projects
- •Perform transmission modeling and policy research
- •Explore co-location of generation and load
- •Present project results to leadership at the end of the internship
Requirements
- •Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power energy systems.
- •Experience in engineering analysis, designing studies, and power energy systems analysis.
- •Strong interpersonal skills, including the willingness to ask questions, listen to colleagues, and contribute ideas.
- •Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable, demonstrating eagerness to dive into the workday.
- •Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of projects and assignments.
- •This position is part of the 10-week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginning in June 2025.
- •This job posting is open to San Francisco, San Diego, or Denver office locations.
- •Clearway will not sponsor nonimmigrant visas for this position H-1B, TN, E-3, J-1 etc.
