Job Description
The Portfolio Finance Intern will assist the Portfolio Finance team in funding processes and asset optimization transactions for utility-scale renewable energy projects, gaining hands-on experience in financial modeling and live transaction support during a 10-week summer internship.
Responsibilities
- •Refine Microsoft Excel-based project finance tracking models for equity investor returns.
- •Create and oversee transaction checklist of documentation deliverables for funding.
- •Coordinate with internal teams to advance deliverables required for funding.
- •Support presentations and reports on transaction status, risks, and benefits.
- •Present results of assigned project to leadership at the end of the internship.
Requirements
- •Current juniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Math, Economics, Tax, Accounting, or a related field.
- •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and understanding of key financial concepts such as discounted cash flow analysis, time value of money, internal rate of return, and net present value.
- •Ability to work well in a collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and working together to achieve company-wide and deal-specific objectives.
- •Strong interpersonal skills, including the willingness to ask questions, listen to colleagues, and contribute ideas.
- •Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable, demonstrating eagerness to engage in work tasks.
- •Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of projects and assignments.
- •Availability to participate in a 10-week Summer Internship Program from June 2 to August 8, 2025.
