Job Description
The Project Engineer at Akaysha Energy will oversee all stages of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project planning and execution, including design management, site visits, and technical support, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- •Review and manage all aspects of design including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- •Assist in project scheduling, cost tracking, and quality assurance during project execution.
- •Manage the EPC contractor and system integrator OEM throughout all project stages.
- •Prepare and maintain all project technical and quality documentation.
- •Develop and improve construction management documentation including project specifications and quality plans.
- •Provide on-time project reporting to the construction team and external clients.
- •Assist Project Manager in preparing budget estimates.
- •Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and results.
Requirements
- •A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering science.
- •At least 4 years experience as an engineer in the utilities or renewables industry or other large scale infrastructure construction industries.
- •Experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of PV power plants, BESS or wind.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- •You must be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency status or have existing AU working rights to apply for this role.
