Job Description
The Safety and Training Intern will assist the Safety and Technical Training team in developing and implementing safety and technical training programs within fleet operations, focusing on injury prevention and regulatory compliance. This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in training development and exposure to real projects in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- •Develop EHS training programs
- •Create technical training for Wind, Solar, and BESS
- •Maintain departmental SharePoint sites
- •Present final project to leadership
Requirements
- •Current juniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in educational design and media development.
- •Experience in Training and Media Development.
- •Proficiency in SharePoint training development software such as Cornerstone, SuccessFactors.
- •Strong user of media development software.
- •Strong interpersonal skills.
- •Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable.
- •Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership over projects and assignments.
- •Basic knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical, and operations.
- •Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and as a team member.
- •Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- •Ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
- •Understanding of the factors that influence human behavior.
- •Some experience in the design and delivery of technical and safety related training.
- •Experience with proficient computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office software.

- •Compensation/salary range: $18 - $25 USD
- •Work schedule: 10-week Summer Internship Program from June 2 to August 8
