Job Description
The O M Estimating Analytics Intern will assist in forecasting operations and maintenance costs for renewable energy projects while developing tools for data visualization and benchmarking. This internship provides hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector and involves collaboration with senior analysts.
Responsibilities
- •Develop a Power BI tool to compile and visualize solar BESS O&M forecasts.
- •Learn about renewable energy project development and financing.
- •Support senior analysts in benchmarking actual O&M spending to cost models.
- •Present final project to leadership at the end of the internship.
Requirements
- •Current juniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, or a related technical field.
- •Experience working with datasets, data visualization, and problem-solving.
- •Proficiency in working with datasets and connecting them with various tools, for example, Power BI.
- •Strong users of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- •Intellectual curiosity and an interest in renewable energy.
- •Strong interpersonal skills, including willingness to ask questions, listen to colleagues, and contribute ideas.
- •Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable, demonstrating eagerness to dive into the workday.
- •Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of projects and assignments.
