Job Description
The Energy Efficiency Project Manager I for Foodservice Programs will support point-of-sale instant rebate programs in California and the Western U.S., focusing on enhancing energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the commercial foodservice industry. Responsibilities include client outreach, managing project deliverables, and contributing to program strategy and design.
Responsibilities
- •Conduct outreach to assigned accounts to maximize participation in rebate programs
- •Review and submit rebate claims and support claim processing
- •Organize and facilitate meetings and collaborative sessions
- •Coordinate program status meetings and resolve issues
- •Manage project budgets and tasks with minimal oversight
- •Communicate program progress to management and clients
- •Interact with clients, program participants, and external collaborators
- •Track utility and energy efficiency trends impacting CFS programs
- •Contribute to strategy and new program design development
- •Conduct literature searches, market research, and data analysis
Requirements
- •A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree OR a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- •Candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- •Regional travel of up to 20% is required.
- •Must be able to operate a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
- •Must have access to a personal vehicle for traveling 2-5 days per month, with trips that may be up to 200 miles roundtrip.
- •Strong communication skills, including comfort and interest in foodservice equipment dealer outreach and engagement.
- •Demonstrated customer service experience and ability to build relationships with foodservice market actors through phone calls, Zoom, and face-to-face meetings.
- •Strong organizational and project management skills.
- •Strong technical writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- •Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and OneNote.
- •Ability to work independently and juggle multiple competing priorities.
- •Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach.
- •Excellent personal accountability and high attention to detail.
