Job Description
The Reliability Engineer at Swift Solar will focus on module reliability and IEC testing, identifying failure mechanisms, and collaborating with R&D teams to develop stable and reliable solar products. This role involves hands-on testing, data analysis, and contributing to the company's culture and growth.
Responsibilities
- •Conduct module reliability and IEC testing
- •Identify and understand failure mechanisms at the module level
- •Collaborate with module and cell R&D to support product development
- •Field modules at outdoor test sites and experiment with accelerated testing conditions
- •Create test plans for external analytical labs to investigate module failures
- •Engage with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and solve reliability issues
Requirements
- •Have 3 years of experience in PV reliability, or failure analysis
- •Are familiar with PV reliability test standards and methods
- •Are familiar with module and material characterization and analysis
- •Are proficient in reliability tools and statistical analysis software e.g. Jmp
- •Have a proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing showing strong communication and empathy
