Job Description
The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of thermal energy storage projects across Europe, ensuring successful execution in terms of technical, financial, and operational aspects while managing relationships with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- •Oversee project delivery of thermal energy storage projects.
- •Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- •Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- •Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- •Act as primary point of contact for clients.
- •Coordinate interfaces between contractors, vendors, and consultants.
- •Manage a multidisciplinary team for project delivery from FEED permitting to commissioning.
- •Champion safety and quality adherence to EPC contract requirements and industry standards.
- •Prepare and present regular project status reports to the executive team and stakeholders.
- •Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project delivery process.
Requirements
- •Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, or Structural preferred)
- •Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- •Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects valued at 25 MUSD on time and within budget
- •In-depth knowledge of construction methods and regulatory requirements
- •Proficiency in project management software and tools
- •Experience in dealing with clients, EPC contractors, utilities, and local authorities
- •Strong leadership, team building, communication, and negotiation skills
- •Speak and write English fluently
