Job Description
The Senior Professional Engineer, Civil - Transportation Roadway will lead various roadway and municipal projects, overseeing design and project coordination from feasibility to construction. This role involves collaboration with management to enhance services and client relations while ensuring project efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- •Lead design and project coordination for roadway and municipal projects from feasibility studies to supervising construction.
- •Conduct roadway design, traffic analysis, pavement management, utilities coordination, and transportation planning.
- •Collaborate with management to develop marketing plans and maintain client relationships.
- •Track prospective opportunities and develop proposals.
- •Deliver client presentations.
Requirements
- •15 - 20 Years of Experience as a Senior Professional Civil Engineer
- •Lead design and project coordination throughout the full cycle of a variety of roadway and municipal projects from feasibility studies, initial design, final design to supervising construction of design
- •Experience in roadway design, traffic analysis, pavement management, utilities coordination, and transportation planning for both urban and rural roadways
- •Collaborate with the Roadway Utilities Group Manager and the Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering
- •Contribute to the development of marketing plans, cultivate and maintain relations with clients and agency representatives, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations
- •Complete a standard pre-employment background screening, which consists of Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history
